Be there live when the Porta Nigra has to be defended against attacking barbarians? You can! The guided tour "The Secret of the Porta Nigra" takes participants on a fascinating journey back in time to Roman Trier 1800 years ago, when life was dangerous and daily labour was arduous - especially as a Roman soldier. The centurion has a lot to tell: played by a professional actor, he tells of glorious splendour and gloomy struggle, of glory and transience, of Roman pride and barbaric defiance.

"The Mystery of the Porta Nigra" is the audience favourite of our adventure tours and guarantees a different look at and into the Roman building that represents the UNESCO World Heritage city of Trier like no other: the Porta Nigra. Spectators are interactively drawn into the exciting history of the building and quickly get the feeling that something doesn't seem right with the centurion in front of them. Will they be right? Find out for yourself!

This adventure tour is suitable for spectators 10 years or older.
This tour is not suitable for wheel chair users and people with limited motorical capacities.
We would like to point out that the tour also takes place in cool rooms and recommend appropriate clothing.
