Being out on Roman streets was sometimes a very dangerous thing to do 1700 years ago. After all, the barbarians lurked on every corner. Today, in the 21st century, it is quite safe to explore the city of Trier and its surrounds, even on your own. But it’s simply more fun to do it together. Which is why you and your group will stay together the whole time as you travel back to our city’s early days with our toga guide, or journey into the ‘realm of shadows’ with wealthy Roman Albinius Asper.
