The Roman emperor and philosopher Marcus Aurelius (121-180 AD) is regarded as the epitome of a good ruler. But what was life like for the man whose "introspections" later became world literature? Who was he, what characterised him and what was the ideal image of a good ruler? Look forward to the 2025 state exhibition at the Rheinisches Landesmuseum and Stadtmuseum Simeonstift Trier.
