Rail

Anyone boarding the train in Koblenz to travel the last 130 kilometres to Trier can confidently leave their book, mobile or tablet to one side. Because most of the time will be spent looking out the window and enjoying the stunning view that unfolds along the Moselle. The tracks run parallel to its glittering waters for most of the journey, combined with picturesque vistas of the surrounding vineyards. But those coming from Saarbrücken, Luxembourg or along the vareo’s (regional train) Eifel route won’t be disappointed either, for it’s a wonderful opportunity to travel at leisure and a slower pace.
