Current message: Cancellation of the MoonWalker
Dear MoonWalker participants and interested parties,
Unfortunately, the MoonWalker on 1 June has been cancelled. However, the BrückenGlück on 1 and 2 June can take place as planned.
The reason for the cancellation of the MoonWalker are the storms of the last weeks and days, which have made it absolutely impossible to walk the route from km 7 (Bachtal behind Kernscheid) due to flooding and washing out of the paths. The farmers were no longer able to mow and remove the tall grass. They are now rightly denying us access. Alternative routes would include a stretch over a busy district road, for which the approval process would take several weeks.
We very much regret the cancellation. All the artists were booked and were looking forward to their performance that night. But anticipation is the greatest joy: the MoonWalker can certainly take place in 2025 with a route that has already been planned (and dried). Your registration fee will be refunded in the next few days.
In addition, you can use the registration code MoonWalker24 and register for the UBS MoonWalker in Born (Luxembourg) on 8 June with a 10 EUR discount. This as a small compensation.
We hope for your understanding!
