Viezstrasse - The Cider Route

The orchard fruit culture and the Viez have created a unique tourist route, the Viezstraße (Cider Route). It leads from Saarlouis and Merzig on the Saar to the Moselle city of Trier. The road is 150 kilometres long, a paradise for cyclists and hikers. It leads through a unique landscape and through villages where you can still discover traditional rural life. Along the way, guest houses invite you to linger. Local producers offer their products, be it honey, jam or Schnaps.
