Viezfest - Cider Festival

Viez, Most, Cider, Sidra, Äppelwoi – apple wine has many names. No matter where it is drunk: It puts you in a good mood and always conveys a unique feeling of home.

The festival is intended to draw attention to the variety and special features of this unique drink, to whet the appetite for a Pörzchen (small mug) and to be a holiday for all Viez fans.

At the Trier Viezfest, the Domfreihof (Cathedral Square) is transformed for a day into the largest and most rustic Viezgarten (cider garden) in the world, with entertainment, savoury specialties and, of course, the best that regional Viez producers can make from an apple.
